So this Christmas keep an eye out for Thundercats. We must say that our personal favourite is the Thundercats most powerful vehicle, the Thunder Tank, which comes with a Snarf action figure! The range includes Thundercats figures, vehicles and reole-play items. The toy range from Bandai are set to come out on 1st December, but it seems like you’ll have to move fast as all the available stock has already been snapped up by nostalgia-loving buyers!

In the new series, those are times of legend, with Cats having conquered that wild world and defeated (but not destroyed) Mumm-Ra and the mutants. Knowing the new sword would give Mumm-Ra too much power, the enslaved ThunderCats used the fragments of the Plun-Darr system to create their own sword. No mere reboot, the new ThunderCats takes place ages after the old series, in which the heroes fled their ravaged world of Thundera to settle on Third Earth, where they contended with vicious animal mutants and the ancient evil Mumm-Ra. And while it’s a world apart from the original in terms of animation with its strikingly anime look, the story owes much to the classic incarnation.
